If you subscribe to our newsletter, you will automatically receive notifications and electronic catalogs (PDF) before each auction. You can also browse through the website by the lots. At the Auction room a simple print can be to obtained. Bidders without an e-mail address can request a print version of the catalog by mail; please phone us at the telephone number above, so that we can write down your address.

Amsterdam Book Auctions is an auction house that annually organizes six auctions a year. Bidding can be done through internet. The emphasis is usually on Antique- and General Books, Comic Books, Trading Card Albums, Prints, Memorabilia and Posters, but also items such as Art, Antiques, Curio, Fine Art, etc.
Consignment and Valuation
Entries from all categories are currently accepted. You are always welcome to bring in items for the upcoming auctions, so don’t hesitate if you have anything that you want to sell through one of our auctions. Click the tab

Bids
The actual bidding takes place during the live auction. If you are unable to attend an auction, it is possible to do your bids prior to the auction. This can be done through an email, post (see the bid form in the catalog), during the viewing days, via our website or by telephone if necessary. The bids are blinded and known only to the auctioneer. These bids will be included by the auctioneer during the live auction.
In some cases it is possible to place your bids during the auction over the phone; (particularly the more expensive lots).
Bidding via internet
You can place bids on our website after creating a (free) account.
After logging in you can place bids yourself by clicking one of the account in the left column, and browse through the lots. After you have confirmed a bid its considered as an agreement and it will be included in the auction.
Aftersales
A few days after the auction, we send our customers a catalogue with the unsold lots. This also will be published on the website. After for about 8 weeks the remaining lots will passed to the Aftersale Shop. (See the upper left column).
